The CU Check Card

Our Debit MasterCard can be used at practically any ATM. If the ATM is part of the Falcon Cooperative Network, you will not be charged a surcharge or foreign fees. You can also use our check card to make purchases from any vendor accepting ATM/debit cards or MasterCard (over 16 million places, including online merchants, gas stations, grocery stores, post offices, catalog stores, etc.).

Why use the CU Check Card?

• It's easier and quicker than writing a check.
• Funds are debited from your checking account as if you'd written a check (merchants will only clear purchases up to your available balance).
• No interest or annual fees charged.
• Merchant's name appears on your statement to help you balance if needed.

Usage Tips

If you use your CU Check Card at a retail store and do not need cash back, always choose the "Credit" option over "Debit." Why? Because a credit transaction saves us money and we pass that along to you in the form of better rates and enhanced services.
