An important message about E-Statements

Due to enhanced security, effective with the November 30, 2009 statement, we will no longer attach E-Statements to an e-mail from GHCU. Instead, you will receive an e-mail telling you to log into Online Banking FLEX TELLER where you can also review past E-Statements.

If you are not signed up for E-Statements, you will be unable to view your statements online. Please call us and we will be happy to sign you up for E-Statements.

Year-end tax information

Year-end 1098s and 1099s are included in your year-end statement. You will not receive a separate one in the mail. If you are an E-Statement user, you will need to log into your Online Banking account to view your 1098 or 1099.

Enhanced Online Banking – New look and Capabilities

Granite Hills Online Banking system (FLEX TELLER) is a powerful and secure way to access your account from anywhere. We are pleased to upgrade our system with these new features effective January 1, 2010:

• A more friendly look and feel including a streamlined secure authentication process. Note: the first time you log into the new system you will be prompted to set up your own security measures to protect your account.
• Ability for you to customize your suffixes - you can name accounts anything you want—My Birthday, Vacation, John’s Car, etc.
• View pending debits and credits received through ACH.
• View any holds or pledges on your account.
• Set up and maintain recurring transfers at your discretion.
• Use E-alerts to inform you when a payment is posted, your account is overdrawn, balance has reached a defined amount, etc.
• Securely send us an e-mail directly from online banking—no need to exit the system to go to your e-mail. It arrives to us safely encrypted and then a reply from us is sent securely back to your Online Banking once we have reviewed the inquiry.
• Request a change to your mailing address.
• Maintain your e-mail address on file at GHCU.
• Choose a user name for your account instead of using your account number.
• View your cancelled checks.
