Can We Afford It?
Yes. Granite Hills is in a strong financial position and the cost of the new location has been carefully planned. Our investments and assets are experiencing positive growth. In addition, our new location will eliminate rental costs on our Barre location.

Will We Need to Borrow Money to Do This Project?
No, we do not need to borrow money. The credit union has been saving for years in order to purchase or construct a new facility.

Will this Affect the Rates Paid on Share Deposits or Charged For Loans?
Current market conditions and competition are primary drivers of interest rates. The Board then meets to set these rates. Granite Hills would not be moving forward with this new location if it was going to negatively impact our members.
